ULTROL CPS Control Panels - Specline Series
Applications
ULTROL Specline Control Panels (CPS) can be built to a customer's specific design and specifications or designed by ULTRATECH to conform to these specifications. Constructed to industrial process-plant standards, these panels provide a secure, centralized location for process instruments and controls, simplifying operation and maintenance.
Instrumentation, gauges, and process equipment such as air supply/filter units, power supplies, bulkhead fittings, etc., may be furnished by ULTRATECH or the supplier desired. The panels are completely piped, wired, and tested to specification and shipped ready for installation.
ULTROL Specline Panels are available in full-pneumatic, full electronic, or hybrid combinations as required. A wide range of instrumentation is available to meet customer requirements.
Description
ULTROL Specline Panels are available in sizes from 12" x 12" to modular units 6 ft. x 12 ft, in depths from 6" to 48".
Enclosures are available in all NEMA types and steel, glass epoxy, and stainless steel materials are required. Key locks, louvers, and other accessories may be installed. Outdoor and remote panels are available, with air compressors or cylinder-gas pneumatic supplies.
Exterior finish is primed and painted with a high-quality light gray enamel. Special epoxy finishes are available.
Suggested Specifications
Control panels shall be constructed to industrial process plant standards, with (NEMA 1)(NEMA 4) (NEMA 12) enclosures with removable inner mounting plates. External bulkhead fittings shall be of the nut and ferrule type (barb-type external fittings are unacceptable). Panels shall be primed inside and out and finished with tow coats of enamel, two-component polyamide epoxy.
The control panels shall be the ULTROL CPS, as manufactured by ULTRATECH INDUSTRIES, INC., Garner, NC, U.S.A.
NEMA Enclosure Types
NEMA TYPE 1 - GENERAL PURPOSE - INDOOR enclosures are intended for use indoors, primarily to prevent accidental contact of personnel with the enclosed equipment, in areas where unusual service conditions do not exist.
NEMA TYPE 4 - WATERTIGHT AND DUSTTIGHT - INDOOR AND OUTDOOR enclosures are intended for use indoors or outdoors to protect the enclosed equipment against splashing water, seepage of water, falling or hose-directed water, and severe external condensation.
NEMA TYPE 12 - INDUSTRIAL USE - DUSTTIGHT AND DRIPTIGHT - INDOOR enclosures are intended for use indoors to protect the enclosed equipment against fibers, flyings, lint, dust & dirt, and light splashing, seepage, dripping and external condensation of non-corrosive liquids.
