Hamlin Goes Green

The Hamlin Companies commitment to sustainable energy and environmental stewardship is showcased by the 107 kW solar power generating system installed in 2008 at the Hamlin Companies sheet metal fabrication plant in Benson, NC. The solar power system generates electric power for the Benson facility. Since 2008 power generated by the roof top installation has offset over 1,595,000 lbs. of CO2 emissions and has generated over 1000 MW hours of sustainable energy.
